Kids Director / Pastor

Rejoice Church is seeking an energetic and passionate Kids Director / Pastor to oversee all aspects of discipleship for kids. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to lead children to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. All planning, programming & key responsibilities will be centered around growing children in their relationship with Christ.

Key Responsibilities

• Fulfill the vision of Rejoice Church by discipling children to follow Jesus.
• Build a quality team of kid’s ministry volunteers and help them grow in their faith as they lead the next generation to follow Jesus.
• Provide great consistent Bible teaching to children while overseeing all curriculum & programming for Sundays and Wednesdays.
• Engage with and equip parents to be the spiritual leaders in their home.
• Create a safe, loving, fun and energetic environment that children love.
• Plan and execute events for children and family ministries.
• Attend 2-3 extracurricular events of ministry kids each month (i.e. sports & performances)

Knowledge & Abilities

• Mature Christian who is passionate about leading children and families to Jesus.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Planning Center.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
